HOW TO DOMINATE THIS SUMMER

  • YOUR PITCH

-Design it so that there are no lies. Make sure it is clear and to the point. I like to focus on telling them who I am, what I am doing, and why I am doing it. If it makes sense to them, you have a lot higher chance of progressing the sale.

-Write it out the exact way you want to say it. Then record yourself saying it and play it back to see how’ it sounds. Make sure it sounds good and then memorize it. If it doesn’t sound good and make sense to you, what do you think it sounds like to the customer?

  • YOUR ATTITUDE

-You have to remember that the customer is going to be letting a complete stranger into their home. If you don’t look nice, confident, and happy it can scare them.

-If you have a bad attitude it will do nothing but hurt your sales, which will probably make you have even a worse attitude. So quit feeling sorry for yourself. Be patient and persistent and it will pay off.

  • YOUR APPEARANCE

-There is nothing wrong with tattoos, or longer hair, or being unshaven. However, it can put a doubt into people’s minds about whether or not to let you into their home. So try and look clean cut and presentable.

  • LISTENING TO THE CUSTOMER

-This is huge, you have to be able to read them and understand what they’re thinking and why they are saying the things they are saying. Whether the customer will admit it or realize it or not, everything they do is an indicator of how they feel about you.

  • SALES PROCESS

-Break their preoccupation, identify yourself, and tell them you’ll be real quick.

-Tell them what you’re doing.

-Tell them why you’re doing it.

-Make sure that they truly understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it and then get inside.

-Go directly to the table and go through the paperwork.

Now go out and dominate your summer!
